In the 2010/2011 year the band were very successful in their local competitions. When the band took to the stage at the Wychavon Festival of Brass they were very successful and came 2nd in their section whilst winning the Best Percussion award and Best Soloist (Amy Hiles). The band were also  given the title of 'Best Local Band'.

The members who were unable to compete at the Wychavon Festival of Brass took part in the Worcester Competitive Arts Festival where they were very successful in winning their class. At the close of the year the band competed at the National Youth Brass Band Championships in Manchester, and was given a Merit Award.
